Disability Resources for Students (Bothell)

Disability Resources for Students (DRS) is a tri-campus resource for all students with disabilities and their faculty at Bothell, Seattle, and Tacoma. We share many important policies and procedures, including the online myDRS system where students and faculty have secure, personal profiles to manage accommodations in their classes.

Each campus varies in size, major and course offerings, and other aspects, and some processes differ from campus to campus. Many of the links on our Bothell DRS site direct to the Seattle DRS site, where a majority of information about DRS at the UW can be found, while other links direct to UW Bothell-specific resources.

Please don’t hesitate to contact your home campus UW Bothell DRS staff at uwbdrs@uw.edu or 425-352-5426 with questions about Bothell campus, classes, alternative testing services, and other accommodations. We can also connect you to DRS staff at Seattle and Tacoma campuses if needed while you are cross-enrolled for any courses there.

All-Gender Restrooms (Tri-campus)

All individuals may use facilities such as restrooms, locker rooms, and changing rooms that correspond with their gender identity; in other words, individuals may use the restroom of the gender they identify with. This is consistent with WAC 162-32-060

Gender neutral restrooms are available for anyone to use, including people who are trans or genderqueer. They provide greater privacy for those who prefer it, and are accessible to persons with disabilities who have a caregiver of a different gender or to parents with a child of a different gender than themselves.
