Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women

On March 30, 2022 the Office of Public Lectures hosted Jordan Marie Brings Three White Horses Daniel and Rosalie Fish to discuss the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women movement (MMIW). The MMIW movement began as a grassroots effort in Canada, and calls for an end to violence against Native women.

April 29 – May 5 is the National Week of Action for MMIW. On May 5th, National MMIW Awareness Day, wear red in support and solidarity for the MMIW movement. For a full schedule of National Week of Action for MMIW, visit the National Indigenous Women’s Resource Center or register.
