Departmental Diversity Committee Meetings

Once a quarter we bring together leaders of departmental committee (DDCs) across our graduate programs to provide an important interdisciplinary space to learn about new resources, hear about best practices and lessons learned, and engage in dialogue on effective ways to advance diversity and inclusion goals.

D-Team Discussion/Workshop Series

The Graduate School diversity team, or D-Team, consists of Graduate School staff who facilitate dialogue and coordinate activities regarding diversity for staff engagement. This year, the group has continued its discussion events and workshops. These events provide opportunities for staff to engage in discussions regarding equity, inclusion, and diversity. Discussion topics have included the native experience at UW, implicit bias, being black in Seattle, and gender and sexuality.
